Power and Functions of the Supreme Court of India
(a) It has the original jurisdiction in all disputes between –
(i) the Government of India in one or more States;
(ii) the Government of India and any State or states, on one and or more states on the other; and
(iii) two or more states
(b) It is the apex court of appeal from all courts in the territory of India.
(c) It can issue Writs for the enforcement of Fundamental Rights.
(d) It can decide if a law is constitutionally valid or not. 0 0 0
