Joe Biden was born on November 20, 1942, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA. He grew up in a family with his parents, Joseph Biden Sr. and Catherine Eugenia Finnegan, and three siblings. Joe faced some difficulties when he was young, like stuttering, a speech impediment.

He went to the University of Delaware and later to Syracuse University Law School. In 1966, Joe married Neilia Hunter, and they had three children together: Joseph “Beau” Biden III, Hunter Biden, and Naomi Biden. Tragically, Neilia and Naomi died in a car accident in 1972, just before Christmas.

Joe Biden entered politics and became a U.S. Senator from Delaware in 1973, serving for a long time until 2009. He faced personal challenges, like overcoming the grief of losing his wife and daughter. In 1977, he married Jill Tracy Jacobs, and they had a daughter named Ashley.

In 2008, Biden became the Vice President of the United States under President Barack Obama. He was known for his friendly and approachable personality. During his time as vice president, he worked on issues like healthcare and foreign relations.

In 2020, Biden ran for President of the United States. He won the election and became the 46th President, taking office in January 2021. He promised to bring unity to the country and address challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change, and racial inequality.
